When applicants visit your Job Board, they are able to select a job from your current list of openings, view the listing of the job, and apply for the job. Your Job Board is where the majority of your applicants enter your ApplicantStack™ system. You can access your public Job Board by clicking on the Jobs Tab, then clicking Open Job Board in the right side navigation menu. This opens the following type of screen:
The Job Board above is the default job board. It lists a variety of information about the job that you can control through your Job Field settings. For more information see Jobs. The item that we want to examine is Title, which is the title that you give your job when you create it. You will notice that it is a hyperlink. Clicking the Job’s Title displays the following type of screen:
This screen displays the listing for the job, which is a detailed description that you supplied when you created the job. It also includes a button to apply for the job.
Clicking the Apply button brings you to the Online Application displayed below.
When the applicant clicks the apply button they are brought into the Online Application and prompted to enter their contact information. The applicant can also be directed to attach their Resume, provide Cover Letter text and answer any questions that have been associated with the Job. For details on how to associate a questionnaire with a job see Jobs. For details on configuring your Online Application, please see Job Boards - Public & Internal.
Once they have completed the Online Application, they click the Submit button and will be added to the Candidates Tab within your ApplicantStack™ system.
Internal Job Board
ApplicantStack™ provides an Internal Job Board, where you can post jobs for your internal employees. The Internal Job Board is a separate site URL, aside from your Public Job Board. It behaves exactly like your Public Job Board. You can even specify that you want jobs posted exclusively to your Internal Board, for a certain number of days, before they go to your Public Board. See Job Boards - Public & Internal for more details about this feature. For more information on activating your Internal Job Board and its associated settings see Job Boards - Public & Internal.
Custom Job Boards
In the sections above you have seen the Job Board displayed with the default template or skin. You can have your Job Board customized to match your website for a seamless integration. If you are interested in this feature, contact your ApplicantStack™ Support Representative to ask about building a custom job board template that matches your website.
