Task Templates serve as a beginning point for tasks being created. In the Library Tab click Tasks on the left side navigation menu.
Tasks Templates
You are presented with the Task Templates Grid. The following items are displayed on the grid:
- Task Name - The name given to the Task Template.
- Object – The task is assigned to a Candidate or Job.
- Last Modified - the Date and Time the template was last edited.
- Actions – Icons used to access, edit or delete the Task template.
Additionally, the ability to create a new Template or Delete one is available from the right side navigation menu.
Create Task Template
Select Create Template to begin creating a Task Template from scratch:
The following options are available:
- Object Type– Select Candidate if this task will be performed for the purpose of evaluating specific candidates for hire. Select Job if this task will be performed for the purpose of working with specific jobs.
- Task Name – The name of the Task.
- Notes – A message or notes to assist the user(s) assigned to the task. These notes will appear in the email notification to the user and on the View Task screen.
- Assigned To – Select the users that will be assigned to complete this task. You may use the Add Row link to add more assignee's as desired. If you wish to select users more dynamically you may choose (Job Owners) or (Hiring Managers), and the task will be assigned to those users depending on which candidate/job the task is being added to.
- Assign Questionnaire - For candidates, a questionnaire may be added to the task or event and it will be available to answer when the task is being completed. These answers will end up on the candidate's feedback tab
- Send Email Reminder – You can select a frequency to send email reminders to complete the task, or choose "Never" to not send email reminders for this task. Note that these are reminders sent AFTER the task to remind users to complete the task by submitting feedback. For example, if you select "Every 3 Days" then users will get a reminder 3 days after the task date if they have not yet submitted feedback, and every 3 days until they submit feedback.
Select Save and the Task Template is now saved to the Library.
