As an Administrator you will have access to the Configure Account menu item. Please note that only Administrators have access to this item.
Configure your Hire Fields to manage the fields for hires in your account. For example, you can add a new field to store additional internal information about a hire.
You can create a new Hire Field by selecting “Create Field” from the action menu bar.
- Name: Enter the Name of the Field
Description: Enter a Description to display next to the field on internal forms (Optional).
Type: Text accepts any valid text. Number accepts only numeric data. Date accepts valid dates. Picklist accepts a value from an options list (i.e. drop-down).
Visibility: Select Public to show this field on the hire portal, or Private to only show the field to internal users.
Show On Table: Select Yes to show this field on the Hire Table.
Required: Select Yes to force users to enter a value for this field.
Recruiter Only: Select Yes to only show this field to Recruiters (and Administrators) and hide this field from Hiring Managers.
System Type: If a System Type is assigned then ApplicantStack will treat this field in a special way according to the selected type. For new fields, you should usually choose (None).
Import from ApplicantStack Recruit: Select an ApplicantStack field from the recruiting module that corresponds to this field, if applicable. When a hire is imported, this field will take its data from that ApplicantStack field.
Choose “Reorder Fields” to reorder the fields by dragging and dropping the fields:
Select “Save” to save the new order.
Deleting a field will also delete all of the information associated with this field. Use the “Delete” with caution.
Configure your Hire Workflow Stages to manage the stages for the hires in your account. For example, you can add a new stage to your hire workflow.
The Workflow stages are your organizational onboarding process. These can be customized for your particular onboarding needs.
Name: Enter Name of Stage.
Type: Is Active: Select this check box if this is an active stage, i.e. currently in processing.
Owners: Select the Owner(s) of the stage. The owner is the person(s) responsible for the activity of the stage. Select Notify for each owner who should be notified via email when there is a new record in this stage (i.e. new candidate or job to review).
Choose “Reorder Stages” to reorder the stages by dragging and dropping the fields:
Deleting a Stage will also delete all of the information associated with this field. Use the “Delete” with caution. You will not be able to delete a stage if a Hire is in that stage.
Configure your Hire Workflow Actions to manage the workflow "buttons" that move your hires through the workflow stages. For example, you can add a new action button, remove buttons, or change the logic for how buttons move your applications through the workflow.
In the above example when a Hire is in the “New” stage, there is a button “Begin Paperwork” and when selected will put the Hire in the “Paperwork” stage:
Note: When you have 4 or more Workflow Actions, they will be grouped together via a dropdown menu:
Name: Enter the Name of the action. – this is the “button” name
Start Stage(s): Select the Starting Stage(s) of the action – this is where will the “button” appear
End Stage: Enter the Ending Stage of the action – when selecting the “button” will result in this end stage
Choose “Reorder Actions” to reorder the actions by dragging and dropping the fields:
Deleting an Action will also delete all of the information associated with this field. Use the “Delete” with caution. You will not be able to delete an action if a Hire is in that stage.
Company Settings: The settings below control specifics of how your account operates. You can edit a setting by clicking Edit Settings.
Organization Name: Enter your Organization or Company Name
Domain: Enter the Domain you would like to use for your company login.

Account Email Signature: This signature will be added to system emails to hires. Individual users will have their own email signature set within their user account.
- Hire Portal: Settings for the Hire Portal such as Instructions, Logo, and Logo Alignment.
