To see the Hire Detail page, Select the Hires name from the Hires Tab here:
The Hire Detail page provides detailed information about the employee / hire:

You can edit any of the information in the Hire General Information Section:
The General Information section provides the information imported from ApplicantStack Recruit and / or from the information manually added to the Hire information section.
You will also notice any attachment(s) added to the Hire will be included here - which can be viewed by selecting the document link or the folder icon. You also can delete the attachment by selecting the red "x".
The following sections (User Tasks, Hire Tasks, Completed Forms, Completed Questionnaires, Assigned Supporting Documents, Emails, Notes, and History) can be manually reordered to make the most sense for you by selecting the green bars to change the display order.
Hire and User Tasks
You can also Add a Task by choosing “Add Task” from the yellow Action Menu Bar:
Template: Choose Task Template – Select a Task Template from the list. These are found in the Library/ Tasks
Task Name: Enter a Name for the Task.
Task Type: Select a type for this task
- File: Choose file. This will open up an option to choose the file that goes along with this task (i.e. Read Employee Handbook)
General: A general task (i.e. Order a laptop; organize team meeting)
Questionnaire: Choose this if task is to fill out a questionnaire. If so see Library/ Questionnaire section for more information. Library Tab This will open up an option to include the questionnaire:
Assigned To: Select an assignee who will complete this task
Send Notification: Select if this task Assignee should receive an email notification of task
Sort Tasks / Reorder tasks
You can change the order of the tasks by selecting the three horizontal green bars to reorder the tasks and then choose "Submit."
Forms are created in Library/ Forms and can also be created by contacting ApplicantStack support.
Selecting “Add Forms” brings up a dropdown menu where you can select to add a Form included in your Library:
- View All Tasks
- Filter Tasks:
Changing the above filters to "All Tasks" will display all tasks including those that are complete:
The Status bar indicates how many items are complete and the total number of items assigned. You will also see more details under the Status column:
You will notice that some tasks are set to Pending, these are tasks that must be completed by another individual first and can not be competed out of order:
You can mark a task as complete where you would need to manually complete all required items and then choose "Submit", to complete the task(s)
You can edit the form assignments by selecting the "Edit Assignees" button under the action column:
Additionally you can also edit the form by selecting the "Edit" icon, which will open the form in the edit mode.
You also have the ability to delete a task(s) (you will receive a confirmation dialogue box to confirm deletion) by selecting the "Delete" button under the action column.
Any completed questionnaire will be listed in this section:
You have the option of to View, Print, Edit, or Delete by selecting the appropriate icon under the Actions column:
Assigned Supporting Documents
Any Assigned Supporting Documents will be listed here:
You have the option to Assign / Unassign Documents by selecting this option:
as well as choosing "Download File under the Actions column:
Any Notes that were added to the Hire Record will be displayed here:
You have the option of adding Notes by selecting this option:
Or by selecting “Add Note” from the yellow Action Menu Bar:
Any Email that were sent to the Hire will be listed here:
You have the option of adding a new email by selecting this option:
Or by selecting “Email Hire” from the yellow Action Menu Bar:
From: If you choose to have emails come from you, recipients will be able to respond to you directly. If you choose System, emails will come from the system and recipients will NOT be able to respond.
To: This field should contain the recipients you selected on the previous screen. Note that if you selected multiple recipients they will each receive a SEPARATE email addressed just to them, i.e. recipients will NOT be able to see each other.
BCC: You can send a copy of the email to other addresses by entering them here. Separate multiple email addresses with a comma or semi-colon. Limit 10 emails.
Template: (Optional) Select an Email Template from the list – These templates are created in Library/ Email
- Delay: Set a delay to send this email out at a later time.
Subject: Enter the Subject of the email
Attachment(s): Select any file(s) to attach to the email
Message: Add you message here or edit the message if this is from an email template.
Include Questionnaire(s): (Optional) Select any questionnaire(s) to include in the email to request the candidate to submit additional information. – These are setup in your Library/ Questionnaire
Include Form(s): (Optional) Select any Form(s) to include in the email to request the candidate to submit additional information. – These are setup in your Library/ Forms
Select “Send” to send this email.
As well as viewing the Email details by selecting "View Details" from the Actions column here:
All the Hire History will be listed here:
Choose “Export” to create a Zip file of all Hire data. The ApplicantStack_Hires.ZIP file will contain the following files:

Selecting “Add Checklist” brings you an option to add a checklist. For more information see Library/ Checklist Library Tab
When a template is selected, you have the option of changing the Assignee as well as the option to send a notification:
Hit “Save” to add this checklist to the Hire record.
Choose “Print” to print to a printer or save the information as a PDF file. You also have the option of “hiding” sections once you choose “Cancel” from the print dialogue.
Choosing “Delete” will delete the hire record.
Choosing “Configure” brings you to the Configure menu.
Choosing “View Portal” brings you to the new hire portal.
