My candidates have not been receiving emails from our organization as they are going to their spam folders. Is there any way that I can stop this from happening?
ApplicantStack™ is not blacklisted by any ISPs. Technically it is not possible for us to know if an email to a candidate went into their spam folder. We also cannot determine if they have whitelisted our emails. Spam filters do not provide feedback on what actions they take on an email. We recommend that you communicate on your application that applicants whitelist any emails that are sent from your organization and / or ApplicantStack™ and periodically check their spam folders.
I need to know how to send for example an automated "Application Received" response to candidates. Is that even possible?
Create the email you want under the library tab (or select an existing email from the library tab). You will want the email to trigger once the applicant enters the new stage. Select the email that you want to send out by clicking on it. Next click edit template on the right hand menu. Click the trigger drop down and select the stage that the applicant will occupy to cause the email to go out. In our example you would select the "New" stage for the trigger.
**I made a change to an applicant’s stage and I didn’t receive a notification of that stage change. **
If you make a change to an applicant’s stage and are the Job Owner/Hiring Manager for that stage, you will not receive a notification as you were the one to make the change. If any other users are associated with the stage for that job/applicant, they will receive the notification. The notification will still be logged in the candidate’s history.
How do I shut off the notification emails that I get when a new candidate applies to the job?
Go to setup and click Configure on the left. Select Application Workflow Stages. Select the New stage and click the edit icon. Uncheck "Notify" and click Save.
Can I use my email client to send/receive emails from ApplicantStack™?
We do not do anything proprietary with any email client, so you can use any email client to send and receive emails from ApplicantStack.
