We have refreshed how we display user feedback and added some new functionality. One thing that you will notice is how feedback is displayed in the Feedback Section. Not only will you have the user’s name that left the feedback, but, if they have set their avatar, you will see the user’s image as well as our new Feedback Rating system.
Feedback can now be added as basic feedback or can be submitted via questionnaire. Feedback can also be assigned via a task (see and can be left on a stage change if enabled.
To leave feedback directly from the Feedback Section, click Add Feedback or Submit a Questionnaire. If you click Add Feedback, you will be presented with a dialog box. The dialog box contains a text field labeled “Feedback Comment” where you can leave comments about the applicant. It also contains 5 empty stars labeled “Feedback Rating”. You can hover over these stars to fill them in. Once you have filled in the amount of stars you want, click on the star and you will have their Feedback Rating. Click Submit when you are finished to leave your feedback comment and rating.
Alternatively you can submit a questionnaire that has been designated as a feedback questionnaire in your library. To designate a feedback questionnaire see https://help.applicantstack.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000720714-Library-Questionnaires. To submit a feedback questionnaire, click the button labeled “Submit Questionnaire” and choose the questionnaire you wish to submit from the dropdown.
Once you have selected the questionnaire, it will open in a modal. You can fill out the questionnaire from the modal and enter a feedback rating at the bottom of the questionnaire.
When you submit your questionnaire, it will appear in the Feedback Section with the other user feedback.
Feedback can also be gathered by creating a "Feedback Task" and assigning it to a user. To create a task, see Tasks Tab. The feedback task can either ask for basic feedback or you can attach a questionnaire. In either case you will have the opportunity to submit a feedback rating.
You can also configure your workflow to ask for feedback on specific stages. Your administrator will need to configure this in your account. If you have administrator access, navigate to your settings page, click configure, click application workflow, select the edit icon for your workflow, then choose the stage you want to edit by clicking the "Edit Workflow Stage" button for the stage you wish to add the feedback option. Next scroll down to Field Settings and select the show checkbox for Feedback. You can also select the required field to make feedback required for the stage.
When the user changes the stage, the Stage Change Dialog box will show with areas to enter Feedback Comments as well as a Feedback Rating.
You can remove feedback from Feedback Section by clicking the trashcan icon located on the individual’s feedback. You may edit it the feedback by clicking the edit icon on the individual’s feedback. For questionnaires, you can print the feedback by clicking the print icon and you may send the feedback to the answers tab and/or change the who submitted the feedback by clicking the settings wheel icon.
Lastly, we have provided a way for you to see an average of a applicant's feedback. The Average Feedback can be found in two places. You can find it on the Candidate Details Page and on the Candidates Tab as a column that can be sorted.
