Integrations are free to use within ApplicantStack but require an account and/or subscription directly from the individual partners.
Step 1: Initial Connection
Go to https://apps.adp.com/home
Make sure you are signed in to your ADP account by looking at the top right hand of the screen. If it says "Sign In" (rather then your name), then click on it to sign in to ADP marketplace before continuing.
Then, type "ApplicantStack" into the search box:
When the results appear, look for "ApplicantStack Payroll Connector" and click on "View Profile":
Then click on the "Editions & Pricing" tab and click "Buy Now":
Follow the prompts as the system connects to your ApplicantStack account and asks for your consent to send data through the integration.
Step 2: ADP WorkForceNow Setup
ADP has provided the following documentation indicating how to set up WorkForceNow for the integration. Use the link below to open ADPs documentation. Once you have finished the steps under "Create Applicant Onboard New Hire Template", then return to this document for a tour of the integration and its configuration with ApplicantStack.
Important: The guide below indicates that you must name the template Applicant Onboard. This must be done in order for the integration to work.

Step 3: Configuring your Integration
We have provided a very flexible system for configuring your integration and making sure that you can get the fields you need over to WorkForceNow.
You will need to be an Administrator in your ApplicantStack account with access to the Setup section.
Log in to your ApplicantStack account and go to onboarding module:
Select your name in the top right and click "Setup":
Then select "Settings" on the left:
You should now notice the new "ADP Payroll Settings" button on the right side:
This is where you will configure your ADP integration.
Configuration section: Automatic Payroll Data Push
The integration can be set up to push your hire's details to ADP automatically. To turn this feature on, simply choose the stage when you would like this to happen. As soon as the hire is set to that stage, they will be pushed into WorkForceNow.
You may leave this field set to "(None)" to turn off the automatic push.
Note that there is a manual push that may be used as well.
Configuration section: Fields
The ADP WorkForceNow integration will accept a large number of fields from your system. The rest of the ApplicantStack ADP Payroll Settings page is dedicated to these fields. Note that all of the fields are set to "(Auto)" to begin with. This means that our system will do its best to find the right field to send over to ADP. You may ignore all of these settings and the automatic system will do a fair job of finding your info.
However, you will save more time and get the most out of the integration by properly configuring as many fields as you can. Simply click on the blue edit button next to any field to edit it:
A box will open up showing you the name of the field in WorkForceNow. Use the Set from dropdown to choose a source for the data. You can use and field, questionnaire, or form in onboard or recruit. The system operates in real-time to find the fields in your account so expect a several second delay in some cases while making choices.
Remember to Save the page using the button at the bottom when you are done making changes:
Once you have finished with configuration, give it a try! Go to any hire on the Hires tab and click on their name. Scroll down to the ADP Payroll section and click "Manually Push to ADP Payroll":
Once the push is complete the hire's history will have a new entry that says, "Hire data pushed to ADP Payroll".
You may view/submit the new hire in WorkForceNow by logging into your ADP WorkForceNow account and clicking on "Process" >> "HR" >> "Hire/Rehire" and choosing the tab for "In-Progress Hires."
