Send New Hire Portal Information
Every new hire will have access to their new hire portal once the welcome email is sent along with their username and password information. You can access and make any edits to the "Welcome to the Hiring Process" email in the Library Tab by selecting the Emails Template and then the edit icon here:
Editing the email, you will notice the following merge codes are included:
{!hire-email} - which will be used as the username for the employee portal
{!hire-temporarypassword} -The hire's temporary, auto-generated password for the onboarding portal
{!hire-portal} - The link to reach the onboarding portal
To send the new hire the email, simply select it from within the hire detail record here:
Select the email from the Template Section and choose "Send":
Once the new hire receives the email with their login instructions, they will need to change their password.
View the New Hire Portal
To view the new hire portal, select "View Portal" from within the hire detail record here:
You will see something similar to this:
Configure the New Hire Portal
To edit the Hire Portal Instructions found at the top as well as include a company logo, any administrator can access the Setup menu by selecting your avatar and choose "Setup" here:
Then select "Edit Settings" from the Settings menu:
The Hire Portal settings can be found at the bottom of the page. Make any changes and include a company logo here and select "Save":
Configure New Hire Portal Fields
To configure which fields are shown in the New Hire Portal, any administrator can access the Setup menu by selecting your avatar and choose "Setup" here:
Then select "Hire Fields" from the Configure menu:
Any field can be added to the hire portal by selecting the edit icon under the actions menu:
Then by selecting "Yes" to "Include in General Information" :
Adding the additional fields to be included in the General Information Section will look similar to the image below:
