We have added improvements to workflows in both Recruit and Onboard.
For Recruit we have altered the "Set Stage" button on both the Job and Candidate Detail pages. You'll notice that the button is now green and, instead of "Set Stage", the button is labeled with the very first action "Pass" action from its drop down menu. Also you will notice a red button has been placed beside the former "Set Stage" button and it's label is knock out action, such as "Fail Review" or "Withdrawn from Process".
We have also made some improvements in the workflow setup. These include:
- Added Expand All and Collapse All buttons for Stage panels
- Added a "Add New Stage to Workflow" button to the top of the screen, which will allow users to instantly add a new stage to the current workflow
- Clicking "Edit Workflow Stage" on the Stage panel opens a modal allowing you to make your changes without leaving the current workflow screen.
- If you create a stage and it is not part of the existing workflow, you will have a notification over the button "Add New Stage to Workflow". Clicking this notification will list the stage(s) that is missing from the workflow and allow you to select and add the stage to the current workflow.

We improved our Onboard workflow experience by adding multiple workflows! Now your hires can have different workflows based on their employee type, state they reside, etc. Also when you move a candidate to the Hired stage in recruit, the stage change dialog box allows you to select the new hire's workflow as well as their Onboard Manager! Note that the Onboard product is required for this option to appear.
In Onboard on the Hire Details page, you will notice that the Hire Workflow Actions button has been replaced with the Stage Action name that will move the hire to the next stage. The button has been moved from the right side of the screen to the left and has had its orange color changed to green.
In the example above, clicking Begin Paperwork will move the Hire to the Paperwork stage that was set up in the Hire Workflow. See Configure - Hire Workflow for more information.
When adding a new hire manually to Onboard, you will notice that you now have the capability to set that hire's workflow on the Add Hire screen. If you only have one workflow or are using the system default workflow only, the system will use that workflow for the Hire.
