Please note that enabling unlimited texting in your account will ADD a monthly fee of $25/month to your billing. The $25 a month is unlimited messages for unlimited users – meaning all users in the account have unlimited messaging for the one flat fee.
This is only available for US & Canadian customers.
Any Administrator can enable texting within the account by going to your avatar and select "Settings"
NOTE: this can also be set up via the Billing page: How do we change our billing information or change our plan?
Select "Edit Settings"
Select "Setup" in the Candidate Texting section:
Enter an Area Code and then select "Search Numbers"
A list of available numbers will appear. Select any available number to use within your ApplicantStack Recruit account. Then read and select "I Agree" to confirm the terms of the agreement and enable the texting feature in your account:
Begining on 11/7/2019 - You can also select your Text Email Notifications:
Select "On" to enable text email notifications and "Off" to disable text email notifications.
Note: The user can update the setting within their account to start or stop the notifications via their Account Setting page and by changing the Text Email Notification to "On" or "Off"

Select "Save" to retain the changes:
The selected number will now appear in the Candidate Texting section:
Texting a Candidate:
Once activated in your account, any ApplicantStack user will have access to text a candidate by selecting the mobile icon next to the number.
Please note that if the number is not a valid mobile number (i.e. landline) you will not see the icon:
Once you select the mobile icon, a new window will appear for your text message. Enter any message and attach any questionnaire and select “Send”
NOTE: At this current time images are not supported
NOTE: There is a 160-character limit on all text messages. This includes the questionnaire link.
The candidate will receive the text message via their mobile device and can respond accordingly:
When a text message is received, you will notice the notification icon indicating the number of new messages for the account:
Selecting the notification icon will expand the menu where you can view all messages:
Selecting “View All Messages”, will display the following text messaging history screen:
A complete history of the text messages can also be viewed via the candidate’s history tab, where you can filter on Texts:
NOTE: Hiring Managers will only be able to see messages for their candidates only. Administrators and Recruiter level users can see all messages.

Any Administrator can go to their avatar and select "Settings", then select "Disable" under the Candidate Texting section. Confirm the changes by selecting "OK" in the pop up message, then select "Save":
